So, a new free music provider will make its debut today. SpiralFrog will offer free download to all US and Canada residents who are interested.
How did they do it?
They will share a part of their advertising revenue with any music company willing to give out their music.
Sounds great huh? Well NO
There are some things you should make note of before uninstalling your LimeWire, Emule, Azeurus, or whatever other program you use for your musical entertainment:
1. Music will only be compatible with your PC and some MP3 players. iPods will NOT be compatible and you will not be able to burn the music on a CD
2. The music selection on it (at least for now) is really limited. The only big music label on the project is Universal Music.
3. As mentioned above, only available for US and Canada residents.
4. You can download each song to your MP3 player only 2 times
5. You have to log into your account at least once a month of your music license will expire.
If you don't mind any of the above then welcome to SpiralFrog, if you ask me, I'll stick with my other methods of entertainment.
