In what would be the biggest circus surrounding any fight in history, MMA fighter and YouTube sensation Kimbo Slice could fight Mike Tyson.
EliteXC Live Events President Gary Shaw said he's had no talks with Tyson or any of his representatives, but he's certainly open to the idea of EliteXC heavyweight Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson taking on the legendary boxer.
The website MediaTakeOut.com has reported that Tyson has tentatively agreed to fight Ferguson under the EliteXC banner.
“Call it a freak show or a circus or whatever you want, but it would be the most-watched pay-per-view event ever,” Shaw said.
Tyson hasn't competed since a June 2005 sixth-round TKO loss to Kevin McBride. It was his third loss in his past four fights. He also reportedly weighs nearly 300 pounds and has no MMA experience. He does need the money, however.
According to the report, the fight with Ferguson would take place "late this year or early next."
Kimbo next fights May 31 against James Thompson on CBS.
If you haven't seen any of Kimbo's YouTube clips, go check one out. The guy is freaking scary.
