Kiefer Sutherland is officially divorced. A divorce judgment was filed Friday for the "24" actor and wife Elizabeth Kelly Winn, according to court documents. Sutherland, 41, filed for divorce from his wife of nearly eight years in 2004, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple have no children together. The question is what took so long? The two actually first separated nine years ago. Last January, Sutherland was released from a Glendale jail after serving 48 days on a drunken driving charge. Sutherland pleaded no contest in October to driving with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit of 0.08 percent. Cowboys QB Tony Romo and singer/actress Jessica Simpson reportedly cuddled and kissed during Ashlee Simpson's wedding Saturday amid reports that the couple had split. Nintendo released its hit video game Wii Fit in the U.S. on Monday. It is forecast to be the next blockbuster game after last month's "Grand Theft Auto 4" Wii Fit, which costs $89.99, is currently sold out in preorder sales on Amazon.com and the Web sites of retailers GameStop and Wal-Mart Stores, while Best Buy's Web site lists it as "coming soon." "Red Dawn," John Milius' 1984 tale of a group of American rebels fighting Soviet forces, is a candidate for a remake, studio officials revealed this weekend in Cannes. George Takei, the original Sulu from "Star Trek," announced over the weekend that he and his longtime partner Brad Altman will tie the knot this summer. The announcement comes on the heels of the California Supreme Court ruling that same-sex marriage is legal there. "Our California dream is reality," he wrote on his Web site. "At long last, the barrier to full marriage rights for same-sex couples has been torn down." "Entertainment Tonight" reports that Britney Spears and Mel Gibson are vacationing together in Costa Rica. But it’s not like that: Gibson invited Spears and her dad Jamie to join him as guests at his Costa Rican home. And Mel’s wife, Robin, is also there.
