Suspensions coming for Celtics and Hawks?
Written by: Brainiac

If you watched Monday’s Game 4 NBA Eastern Conference quarterfinal between Boston and Atlanta, you know there was a brief skirmish in the second quarter.
Boston star Kevin Garnett and Atlanta’s Zaza Pachulia went nose-to-nose for a moment. That wasn’t the problem. The problem came when Garnett shoved referee Eddie Rush when he tried to keep Garnett from going after Pachulia (it didn’t appear Garnett knew it was a ref holding him, but
that’s likely not going to matter).
Boston also could lose center Kendrick Perkins, who appared to leave the bench and step on the floor. The Hawks could lose Marvin Williams, whose foot was barely touching the floor during the fracas.
If the league follows the same letter of the law they did last season, when Phoenix lost both Amare Stoudemire and Boris Diaw in a crucial playoff game against the Spurs, then Williams and Perkins have to be gone for Game 5. Hard to say how the NBA comes down on Garnett.
If it matters, NBA commissioner David Stern was in attendance for the game.
