Davidson star not ready for NBA

What: Stephen Curry is coming back for his junior season at Davidson.
Why you should care: After Davidson lost Sunday in the Midwest Region final to Kansas, 59-57, Curry said he would play for the Wildcats again next season, "no matter what anyone says I should do.
"I'm definitely coming back," he said. "I don't think I'm ready."
A ripple effect of Curry's decision is that Davidson Coach Bob McKillop also has a decision to make. A source close to McKillop told ESPN.com that Rice University had been making a push to hire him away from Davidson.
Speculation had begun about Curry possibly testing the NBA waters after he had 40 points against Gonzaga and wound up with a 32.0 ppg average in four NCAA Tournament games.
Point guard Jason Richards is a senior and will be Davidson's biggest loss after this season. Curry could move to that position to make up for his lack of size. He’ll be a preseason All-American next season.
