Some sharp nhl betting action today on the underdog Bruins.  Game is still sitting -160 so there is plenty of value on the Bruins still at +140.

Bruins seem very pumped for this game especially with memories of the Game 7 NHL Hockey playoff loss fresh in their minds.  They took Montreal to the brink of elimination last season after losing the first two playoff games.  Boston knows they can beat this team now after going 0-8 in the regular season last year.  Expect Boston to play the Canadiens tough tonight. Justified line movement towards the underdog.

These two teams have plenty of motivation to not like each other.  Lowe and Burke, the respective hockey bosses of these two teams, have traded insults in the past and their animosity for each other seems to pour over onto the ice.

However, its been the Oilers who have had the last laugh over the past three years going 8-3-1 against the more talented Ducks team.

Anaheim has started slow jumping to a 0-3 deficit early in the season.  Expect them to be fired up and ready to play.

The Oilers played well in their opener winning 3-2 over Colorado.  That game was Sunday and was their first of the season so expect them to be well-rested.

Anaheim played a tough game against the Kings last night and may be tired in the second part of the back-to-back which justifies the move towards the underdog.

Tough game to call.  There is always value in a well rested hockey team but the Ducks have a little something to prove tonight.  Bet the Oilers with caution if you favor the underdog tonight.
