The truth of the matter is this: New Bronco Brady Quinn is not a former Cleveland Browns quarterback in so much as hes a former Notre Dame quarterback.That explains much of the Mile High hysteria surrounding Sundays trade.
Because when it comes to Golden Domers, there is no middle ground.You either love the Fighting Irish or you love to hate them.Just like Duke basketball and Coach K.

The Steelers have signed inside linebacker Larry Foote to a three-year, $9.3 million deal, bringing the veteran back to Pittsburgh following a one-season stint in Detroit.
Foote, a starter for the Steelers from 2004-08, will provide depth at inside linebacker.He said he signed with the Steelers so he can again play for a winning team.

The Raiders kicked off offseason voluntary workouts today at team headquarters.The linemen checked in for 8 a.m.workouts, the skill position guys followed at 10:30 a.m.

The Arizona Cardinals welcomed aboard a new linebacker on Monday, said so long to one that came in for a free-agent visit, and are still awaiting word from a third.
Paris Lenon, a nine-year NFL veteran who has played for multiple teams, including the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and most recently, the St.Louis Rams, signed a three-year deal with the Cardinals.

The Ravens today signed reserve tight end Edgar Jones to a one-year, $545,000 deal.He wasnt tendered by the team as a restricted free agent.
Jones also has played linebacker for the Ravens and has been a solid special teams player for the team.
Tight end is one of the areas the Ravens could be targeting in the upcoming NFL Draft.After starter Todd Heap and Jones, plus practice squad player Davon Drew, a fifth-round draft pick a year ago, the Ravens are thin at the position.

Most of the Broncos returned to Dove Valley for the first day of the teams voluntary offseason workout today.
But to veteran cornerback Champ Bailey, now the teams longest-tenured player, what was most noticeable was the players who arent here.

The Steelers wasted little time today bringing back another former player, reaching agreement with inside linebacker Larry Foote on a three-year, $9.3 million contract shortly after he passed a physical.
Foote, 29, returns to the team where he won two Super Bowls.Just one year ago he was released because he didnt want to be a backup to Lawrence Timmons.

A day after trading for quarterback Brady Quinn from Cleveland, the fallout continued Monday as the Broncos cut backup QB Chris Simms.
Simms, who played in parts of two games last season, was set to make $2.54 million next season.
In Week 11, Simms started against the Chargers in Denver.But he was benched after only three series in favor of an injured Kyle Orton.It was just Simms second start since 2006.
