Tkachuk will decide on retirement quickly

Blues center Keith Tkachuk hasnt made his decision final, but it appears that the 18-year NHL veteran is leaning toward retirement following the season.
Tkachuk will turn 38 on March 28, and the 2009-10 season has been especially trying on him.
He lost several teeth when he was hit in the mouth by a puck on Jan.
2 and recently suffered a displaced finger on his left hand.
Prior to Thursdays game against the New York Rangers, Tkachuk said he wouldnt make a decision until after the season, but that it would happen “fairly quickly.”
“Ive got some thoughts running through my mind,” Tkachuk said.
“You get older and youre just not the same way you used to be.
It gets a lot harder …
guys are bigger, faster, stronger.”
