Three potential - and profitable - Super Bowl LII futures matchups | News Article by Inspin.com

With the NFL playoff picture pretty much painted – except for a few strokes here and there – bettors are starting to look ahead to the postseason and potential Super Bowl showdowns.

Here are somefree sports betting picks on three potential Super Bowl LII that could make futures bettors some serious coin before the Big Game even kicks off:

Los Angeles Rams vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (+1,500)
This matchup isn’t too farfetched considering just how good these teams have been and the fact that the teams in front of them in their respective conferences have some flaws. The Rams boast perhaps the most balanced team in football, with a lethal offensive attack and a front seven on defense that has smashed opposing offensive lines in the second half of the season. Los Angeles should be able to get past a Wentz-less Eagles teams and would love another crack at the Vikings.

The Steelers should have a win over the injury-plagued Patriots on their resume, but a terrible call that nullified a winning touchdown will likely cost them home field through to the conference championship. Star receiver Antonio Brown should be healthy for the postseason, and headlines an offense that just started finding its form. Pittsburgh’s defense is the only real question mark, despite 50 sacks, but Ben Roethlisberger and the offense should be able to do enough to get the Steelers at least to the AFC title game.

New Orleans Saints vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+4,000)
The Saints drastic facelift on offense has made them a legit contender to win the NFC. After passing on more than 63 percent of snaps last season, New Orleans has become one of the most run-heavy attacks in the NFL, backed behind Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara. That’s allowed the Saints to control the clock and give the stop unit some down time. When it is on the field, the New Orleans defense has held foes to under 20 points per game.

The big question in this https://sildenafilhealth.com Super Bowl equation is can Jacksonville make the Big Game with Blake Bortles under center? The Jaguars quarterback threw three interceptions in Week 16 and that was against the 49ers. Playoff-quality teams will eat Bortles alive if he plays down to that level. Jacksonville’s defense has carried the team this far, ranked second in points against and third in total yards allowed but most notably tops in sacks with 52. We’ve seen Denver ride an elite stop unit to the Super Bowl in recent years, so the Jags have a chance.

Carolina Panthers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (+14,000)
These could be two teams no one wants to meet in the playoffs. The Panthers have boasted one of the best defenses in the NFL all season, but struggled at times to put up points. That hasn’t been the case the past month, with Carolina averaging almost 31 points per game over its last six contests. Cam Newton is still the one-man army he’s always been and recently returned All-Pro tight end Greg Olsen from injury. The Panthers have won three in a row heading into Week 17 and seven of their last eight, hitting their stride at the right time.

The Chiefs looked like AFC contenders right out of the gate, with a Week 1 stunner over the Patriots. Following a 5-0 start, Kansas City stumble in the middle of the season as its defense gave up points in bulk. The Chiefs, however, have tightened the bolts on defense in recent weeks. They’ve allowed scores of just 15, 13, and 13 in their last three and an average of 17.8 points in the six games since their bye week. This team has playmakers across the board and is able to score points on offense, defense and special teams. Kansas City has won three straight entering a meaningless season finale and will be well rested for the opening round of the postseason.
