The Game: Chicago Bulls vs. Minnesota Timberwolves - Target Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota
2 Star Free Pick: Bulls -6 -110
The Chicago Bulls are tied for the second-best record in the league, having bounced back from a 15 point loss to Atlanta and a win against Detroit 92-68 on Monday. The Bulls got back to playing tough defense against the Detroit, holding the Pistons to 39 percent shooting and forcing 18 turnovers.
They now pay a visit to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who struggled to put points on the board against Toronto on Monday and ended up losing 97-87.
The Bulls have won four straight against the Timberwolves by an average of 17.0 points (Minnesota's last victory came on Jan. 25, 2009, a 109-108 win at the Target Center.).
Chicago is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 13-4 ATS in their last 17 Tuesday games and most of their starting players come into this game well rested, so they seemingly have the edge over the Timberwolves.
And yet, although Minnesota would be at a disadvantage, having playing in Toronto on Monday and Washington on Sunday, teams playing for a third consecutive day have had some success. All six NBA teams that have completed back-to-back-to-back stretches have won the last game.
It’s going to be a tough game for Minnesota and they will have to kick things up a notch, defensively and offensively; if Chicago keeps on playing how they’re playing, this promises to be a sure clincher pick.
