Another Thanksgiving come and gone and here –with a belly still stuffed of turkey- I find myself looking at the schedules for today's Black Friday games, taking comfort that the wife and kids are braving the crowds doing some shopping, leaving me to sit in front of the TV getting ready to watch the wonderful sport that is college football.
The main event today is LSU vs. Arkansas. Currently at # 1, LSU (11-0) will have to beat the high octane offense of Arkansas to assure the Tigers of capturing the SEC West title and getting as spot in the BCS National title game on January 9, 2012. The LSU Tigers will look to ensure another nerve-wracking game to assert themselves as the best team in the nation.
For the Arkansas Razorbacks, everything is on the line as they face the top ranked team in the country. Arkansas jumped into third place in the current BCS Standings and that they will have a chance to be part of the controversies surrounding the BCS rankings if they will make the biggest upset.
Houston also looks to keep its perfect season alive, facing Tulsa early in the day. Nebraska rounds out the ranked teams in action as it faces Iowa in a nationally televised matchup.
Check out the Black Friday NCAA football schedule, which has plenty of games to fit any fan's needs.
