Miami Heat (2-0, 1-0 away) vs. Charlotte Bobcats (1-0, 1-0 home)
Two Southeast Division teams meet in the Queen City on Wednesday when the Miami Heat visit the Charlotte Bobcats. The Heat have started the season with two wins, first in revenge for their NBA Finals loss against the Dallas Mavericks on Christmas Day before following with another victory over rival team Boston on Tuesday.
Rookie Norris Cole had 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter for the Heat, as Miami held off Boston, 115-107. LeBron James added 26 points and Dwyane Wade had a solid all-around performance with 24 points, eight assists and four blocks for Miami.
The Bobcats open their season on a winning note Monday when D.J. Augustin scored five of his 19 points in the final 66 seconds as Charlotte pulled out a 96-95 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
Augustin also took part on eight assists, while Gerald Henderson added 18 points and nine rebounds for the Bobcats who trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half, before staging a comeback. Rookie Kemba Walker added 13 in his NBA debut and Corey Maggette added 12 points and seven rebounds for the Bobcats.
On the down side for Charlotte, Augustin sprained his left ankle in the final minute of Monday's game and didn’t make it to practice on Tuesday, although he still expected to play against the Heat.
Last season, Charlotte finished one game behind Milwaukee with a 34-48 record, and the teams were involved in a three-team offseason trade in an attempt to alter their lottery-laden history. The biggest name in the deal, Stephen Jackson, was a non-factor for the Bucks on Monday, fouling out with 3:56 left in regulation after scoring just six points.
Charlotte, which will finish a three-game, season-opening homestand against Orlando on Friday, has started 2-0 just one previous time in franchise history (2007-08). Miami has won five straight over the Bobcats and swept the four-game season set a year ago.

Odds Analysis:
The Miami Heat look like a team on a mission. The public will take notice and we expect to write some serious Heat money over the next few weeks. The odds on tonight's game opened Heat -11 but have dropped for the time being to -10.5-110. They did not cover ATS vs. the Celtics yesterday but that doesn't seem to scare away the public. At the current time we are writing 93% Heat money at the -10.5 which will result in this game climbing higher before tip-off.
The Heat have covered the OVER in both their first two games. In Game 1 vs. the Mavericks the posted total was o/u 190 and landed 199 (105-94). In Game 2 vs. the Celtics the posted total was o/u 187.5 and landed 222 (107-115) easily covering the OVER ATS. Keep in mind this is a back-to-back so 'lockout legs' could be an issue. The ratio at the current time of o/u money is 95%/5%. The combination of sharp money on the OVER as well as the large betting public percentage has driven this total up seven points off the opener of o/u185-110.
