Oklahoma City Thunder (22-6) vs. Houston Rockets (16-13)
Date/Time: Wed, Feb 15th, 8:10 PM ET, Toyota Center, Houston, Texas
After a merciless 111-85 blowout over the Utah Jazz last Tuesday night, the Oklahoma Thunder, owner of the best record in the NBA (22-6), reached their seventh straight win at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, and set a new record for the longest home winning streak since moving from Seattle in 2008.
Now, the Thunder will look to extend their winning streak this Wednesday night when they visit the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center. So far this season, OKC has won its two games vs. the Rockets. In the first match of the season, the Rockets fell 109-94 in Chesapeake Energy Arena on Jan. 6th. Just one night later, OKC outperformed the Houston Rockets 98-95.
Houston (16-13), which is opening up a six-game homestand tonight, comes into the game after splitting a six-game road trip. The Rockets defeated the Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers before closing their road-trip with two straight loses vs. the Golden State Warriors on Feb. 12 (97-106) and Memphis Grizzlies on Feb. 14 (83-93).
Houston needs a win to gain momentum as it starts its own home stretch before the 2012 NBA All-Star weekend. The Rockets, who will also face the Minnesota Timberwolves, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors at their home arena, are 10-3 in Space City this season.
Oklahoma City Thunder: -3.5, ML -155
Houston Rockets: +3, ML +155
Game Total: 202.5, O/U -110
