The Indiana Hoosiers will get another chance to break one of the longest losing streaks in college basketball history when they visit the Wisconsin Badgers for a high voltage Big Ten game scheduled to take place this Thursday night at the Kohl Center.

After a sensational 12-0 start that includes a win over #1 Kentucky, Indiana has gone through tough a tough stretch over their last games, and are now close from dropping out of the AP top-25. The Hoosiers closed the weekend with a 73-54 home victory over Penn State that helped the team to snap a three-game skid.

Now the 17th-ranked Hoosiers will try to score its first victory in Madison since 1998 when they visit the Kohl Center.  While Indiana leads the all-time series 94-63, the Badgers have won the last eight meetings dating back to January 2007, including two wins last season (69-60 home and 77-66 away). On top of that, Indiana hasn’t won at Madison since January 1998, which constitutes a 10-game losing streak and the largest record for the most consecutive wins over Indiana by a conference opponent since 1935.

The No. 25 Wisconsin Badgers will aim for its fifth straight victory tonight. The Badgers stumbled to a 1-3 start in the Big Ten, which includes back-to-back losses at home vs. Iowa and Michigan State. However, the team has bounced back over the last weeks, most recently in a close 67-63 victory at Illinois on Sunday.

ABOUT INDIANA (16-4, 4-4 Big Ten): With 18 points per game off turnovers and another 18.1 points at the foul line, The Hoosiers currently hold the second highest record in the NCAA Basketball. In addition, Indiana leads the Big Ten in scoring (79.8), field goal percentage (50.0) and 3-point percentage (44.9). Freshman forward Cody Zeller has emerged as an All-America candidate, leading the Hoosiers with 15.1 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 65.9% from the floor. Junior forward Christian Watford adds 12.7 points and 5.7 boards.

ABOUT WISCONSIN (16-5, 5-3): The Badgers still lead the nation in points allowed (49.6), field goal percentage defense (35.9) and fewest turnovers (9.0). Wisconsin also ranks 10th in the Big Ten in scoring (65.6), 10th in shooting (43.5 percent) and 11th in assists (12.0). Senior point guard Jordan Taylor leads Wisconsin with 14.1 points and 4.4 assists. The Badgers are shooting 70.8 percent from the foul line, a big drop from last year's NCAA-best 81.8 percent.
