New York Giants (6-4, 3-2 away) vs. New Orleans Saints (7-3, 4-0 home)
Eli Manning and the New York Giants head to the Superdome for a MNF showdown with the New Orleans Saints. New York is looking to bounce back after suffering a devastating defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles last week.
The Eagles defense completely shut down the Giants rushing attack. New York running backs were held to a total of 29 yards on 17 attempts in the 17-10 loss last Sunday. The offensive line is a big reason they have had so much trouble running the ball. Injuries have also decimated the line including left tackle, Will Beatty, who will miss with a detached retina. The Giants own the 2nd worse rushing attack in the NFL at 83.2 yards per game. Lead rusher, Ahmad Bradshaw was downgraded to doubtful so there is little hope of improvement on the horizon.
Quarterback Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints will be well-rested coming off their bye-week. New Orleans won two straight games including a 26-23 win over division-rival Atlanta before the break. A win tonight would give them sole possession of 1st place in the NFC South. Plus, 4 of their remaining 6 games are at home which further advances their hopes of a division championship. The Saints have the 5th ranked offense in the NFL and average 436.9 yards per game.
Let’s take a current look at the line on the game:
New York Giants +7.5-115
New Orleans Saints -7.5-105
Over/Under 51 -110

Odds Analysis:
The point spread on this game opened with the Saints as a heavy -7.5-110 point favorite. The game has fluctuated throughout the week dropping as low as -6.5 only to be bet back up to -7 and -7.5. The betting public consensus is hitting the Giants at a 58% ratio as of 12:30 pm ET on Monday. However, there has been some sharp money on the Giants at +7.5-110. The balanced sharp-square money should keep this game at or around -7.5 up until kick-off.
The total on the game opened o/u 51-110 and has seen little movement. The Giants will be without any semblance of a rushing game so you would have to assume they will attack through the air which could lead to a high-scoring affair. The betting public loves to bet OVER on MNF and this game is no different. The current ratio to OVER/UNDER bets is 88%/12% at the current time. Expect the total on the game to go up if this heavy consensus trend continues.
Winning Betting Trends:
100% WINNER - Saints are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games.
100% WINNER – OVER is 4-0 in Saints last 4 games following a bye week.
87.5% WINNER – OVER is 7-1-1 in Giants last 9 games after accumulating less than 90 yards rushing in their previous game.
