NFL Week 12 is history and so are the Eagles’ chances of making the playoffs.

Teams are battling it out and there is money and pride on the line to win every game.

Take a look at some of last week’s highlights:

• • Green Bay gets to 11-0 after they stuffed the Lions on Thanksgiving Day.
• • The Harbaugh brothers faced off and older brother John and the Ravens came out on top…at least for now.
• • Cincinnati almost got ‘trapped’ by the Browns. Not surprising for a game sandwiched between the Ravens and Steelers.
• • Chris Johnson finally breaks loose for 190 and the Titans go to 6-5 (Only took him 11 weeks).
• • Stevie Johnson celebrates a little too early and often and the Bills pay the price losing 28-24 to the Jets…idiot.
• • Houston loses Leinart and basically any chance of winning a title this season…disappointment.
• • The Pats start slow but finish strong to beat the Eagles 38-20. Stick a fork in the Birds’ cause they are DONE.
• • The Tebow train picks up even more speed…another 4th quarter win…total disbelief.

Baltimore Ravens (8-3, 2-3 away) vs. Cleveland Browns (4-7, 3-3 home).

Bottom line is no team should be a three touchdown favorite in the NFL. The Patriots have the worst ranked defense in football. They are ranked 32nd and allow 409.8 yards per game. The Colts will be embarrassed and will play with pride. The bookmakers over-adjusted in 2007 and they did it again this season. Jump on the +21 and bury your man.

San Diego Chargers (4-7, 1-4 away) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (3-8, 2-3 home)

The former head coach will be the first to admit he isn’t very good handling an offense. Mel Tucker is better fit to not only coach but inject some excitement and life into this current team. The rumors out of practice this week have been very positive. He ran spirited practices which the offensive players have raved about. The excitement is in the air this week on the offensive side of the ball as well as the defense for the first time all season.

Changes of this magnitude are not built into the odds. Bookmakers will generate their lines on stats but the handicappers are the ones doing the heavy research for tips and inside information. The information on this game screams that the changes this week will benefit the Jaguars team on Monday Night.
