The NFL Week 14 is in the books and we’re one step closer to the playoffs. Players are scrambling like crazed bulldogs at feeding time and we all want to see who’s who in the post season.
Let’s take a look at some of last week’s highlights:
• The Eagles aka ‘the dream team’ lost again…more like a nightmare than a dream!
• Da’ Bears put up a total of three points vs. the Chiefs(...any hope of a postseason run starts with the return of Jay Cutler.)
• Buffalo lost their fifth straight game and dropped to 5-7…how do you average 31 pts./game through your first six games and then score 13 pts./game through your last six games?
• Miami beat down the Raiders 34-14 and has scored an average of 28 pts. in their last five games… impressive but a little too late.
• Tebow and company did it again…nuff said.
• Indianapolis and new quarterback, Dan Orlovsky, keep it close in New England…lose by seven but cover the BIG 20 point spread.
• Dallas blows it in OT to the Cardinals 19-13(…but sets up a great division game with the second place Giants on Sunday Night.)
• Green Bay stays undefeated by winning a 38-35 barn burner with the G-MEN…can a team with a 31st ranked defense go undefeated all season?
Will Week 14 be as action-packed and exciting? You betcha’!
Let’s get started:
Philadelphia Eagles (4-8, 3-3 away) vs. Miami Dolphins (4-8, 3-3 home)
The Inspin NFL Simulator made the total on this game o/u 49-110. There is value betting the OVER at 44 or better. This is an Inspin.com 2-Star FREE pick.
The battle of the 4-8’s, matches the Dolphins vs. the Eagles in South Florida. Neither team has any chance at all of making the playoffs, but they both have the ability to score points and put up big numbers.
Miami has scored an average of 27.8 points in their last five games. They’ve played inspired football including last week’s 34-14 blowout of the Oakland Raiders. Quarterback, Matt Moore, has six touchdown passes and only 1 interception over the last 3 weeks.
The Eagles have the third ranked offense in the entire NFL. They average 412.6 yards per game, including an average of 157.1 yards on the ground. The return of controversial quarterback, Michael Vick, will limit the turnovers and help kick-start their impressive offense. Vick is listed as ‘probable’ at the current time so expect him to start.
Here’s a tasty betting trend from the Inspin.com database: The OVER is 9-1 in the Eagles’ last 10 games as a road underdog of .5-3.0 pts. (…that’s a 90% winner!)

The odds on the game have the Dolphins listed as a three-point favorite, so this trend fits the game scenario like a glove.
Wagerweb.com, Inspin sponsor and a leading offshore sportsbook, has the total on this game listed at 45 -110. Open an account this week and mention INSPIN, they will honor your first bet OVER 44-110. (…that’s a full free point key number on your first bet!).

Expect an old fashioned high octane shoot-out. Both teams realize they are out of the playoff hunt and scoring points will be the focus for the remainder of the season. Bet the OVER 44-110 and take it to the bank.
Oakland Raiders (7-5, 4-2 away) vs. Green Bay Packers (12-0, 5-0 home)
Inspin's Simulator made the point spread on this game Packers -7.5-110. There is value betting the Raiders at +12 or better. This is an Inspin.com 2-Star FREE pick.
Oakland lost last week 34-14 to the 4-8 Dolphins and it wasn’t even that close. They scored two late meaningless touchdowns in the 4th quarter to cut it to 20 points. How was the mood in the locker room after the loss? Not Festive. Here are a few quotes after the game:
“We got pushed around” – Raiders head coach Hue Jackson
“Today really feels like a whipping more than a loss” – Raiders Safety Mike Mitchell
“We just got physically beat today, which is discouraging.” – Raiders QB Carson Palmer
NFL players are a proud bunch, and after losses like this tend to bounce back and play hard. The Packers are still undefeated; a tough game against the best team in the NFL is a good tonic to get past a brutal loss.
Green Bay is now 12-0 but squeaked out a tough win last week vs. the Giants. The Packers are winning, but they are also giving up huge yards and points to their opponents. The defense is ranked 31st in the NFL and allows 379.8 yards per game. They’re the best team in the NFL in my mind, but their defensive weaknesses can and will be exploited.
Wagerweb.com has the Packers listed at -11-110. Open an account this week and mention INSPIN, they will honor your first bet +12-110 on the Raiders (…that’s a free full-point on your first bet!).

Bottom line, losing sucks but getting a whipping hurts all week. Head Coach Hue Jackson took responsibility for the loss and will have his players fired up and ready to play the defending champs. The double digit spread is too generous for a team coming off such a tough loss. The Raiders will score enough points and play a tough defense to keep the game close. Take the +12 and bury your man.
New York Giants (6-6, 3-3 away) vs. Dallas Cowboys (7-5, 5-1 home)
The Inspin Simulator made this game Dallas -2.5-110. There is value betting the Giants at +3.5-110 or better. This is an Inspin.com 2-Star FREE pick.
The G-MEN played the champs last week tough but came up a little short in the 38-35 loss. Quarterback, Eli Manning, was 23/40 for 347 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Giants entered the 4th quarter with a 28-27 lead but couldn’t hold off the high scoring Packers offense. The most impressive thing about the Giants during the game was that they looked hungry. The loss to the Saints was a wake-up call; they looked like a team ready to make a run at the playoffs.
The hunger will be there again this week. Their backs are to the wall and they fully understand the division lead is on the line. They will not come to Dallas Stadium unprepared and not ready to play.
Wagerweb.com has the line on this game listed at Dallas -3 -130. Open an account this week and mention INSPIN, they will honor your first bet Giants +3.5-110. (…that’s a free key number half-point on your first bet!).

Expect a spirited Giants team with division dreams to show up at Dallas Stadium. This won’t be a blow-out. The game will come down to the last minute, but the hook on the three-count will be enough to get you the ATS win. Take the +3.5-110 and enjoy the game when it ends with a field goal. Bet ‘em and bank ‘em.
