Who Will Win Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis? Bet on It!
By Dave Johnson on Jan 17, 2012

Super Bowl XLVI

By Dave Johnson – Betting Expert and Professional Oddsmaker

The divisional playoffs are in the books and now it’s time to get ready for the conference showdowns. Known for providing solid sports betting advice and insider analysis on the best odds and entertainment bets found online, inspin.com now brings you an exclusive analysis on which of the remaining four NFL teams will win Superbowl XLVI.

Dave Johnson, betting expert and professional oddsmaker, had the following to say regarding the current odds on this prop bet:

“The divisional playoffs were unbelievable. We watched the Saints get knocked off in a thriller in San Fran as well as the 15-1 Packers make an early exit at the hands of the GMEN.”

“The remaining teams are all contenders but the early odds-on favorite without a doubt are the New England Patriots. Tom Brady and Belichik have been there before and know how to win the big game. They are listed at +100 or even money. A bet for $100 on the Patriots will pay back an even $100.”

“Keep in mind however they still need to get past the Ravens and their 3rd ranked defense.  With that in mind a bet on the Pats may not generate the most value. The Ravens at +700 or 7 to 1 is sure to entice action as well; expect books to write some solid Baltimore money on this prop bet.”

“In the NFC, the Giants and the 49ers are listed at +350. The 49ers are a small favorite this week at home, but the Giants have more experience in the playoffs over the last few years. Those facts forced the books to set the odds on both teams at the same number and I think they will both attract equal action.”

Who will win the NFL Championship this season? We will all know on Superbowl Sunday!

This prop bet will be open all week at Inspin sponsor Wagerweb.com. I expect a ton of traffic for the market; here are the most current NFL odds on the remaining four teams released by them:

New England Patriots  +100 1 to 1 bet $100 to win $100
New York Giants  +350 3.5 to 1 bet $100 to win $350
San Francisco 49ers  +350 3.5 to 1 bet $100 to win $350
Baltimore Ravens +700 7 to 1 bet $100 to win $700

•    The above odds are for the winner of Superbowl 46. The winner of this prop bet will be graded on Superbowl Sunday.
