San Jose, Costa Rica, November 7, 2011 - The Indianapolis Colts are working hard to become the first team since the 2008 Detroit Lions to have an imperfect season. They are 0-9 to start the year, and have some tough games remaining including the Patriots in week 13 and the Ravens in week 14.
Known for offering some of the best sports odds and diverse entertainment prop bets found online, wagerweb.com has created odds on whether or not the Colts will accomplish the imperfect season or more accurately, the perfectly bad season.
Dave Johnson, head oddsmaker at wagerweb.com, had the following to say regarding the current odds on this prop bet: "The Colts are just horrible right now on both sides of the ball. I don't think anyone can argue that Peyton Manning means more to his team than any single player in the NFL. At the current time they are ranked 20th in total offense and 32nd in total defense. Teams are averaging 31.4 pts a game vs. them which is a full touchdown more than the Patriots ranked 31st. With those stats and no help on the horizon the possibility of a 0-16 year is very much alive. The odds we created for 0-16 are based on the estimated money lines for the remaining games on their schedule. We assumed they will be an underdog in each of those 7 games. We also took into consideration the "Suck for Luck" sweepstakes which is factored into the odds. Players, GM's and owners deny tanking but when a player of Luck's magnitude exists it makes perfect sense to throw games. Anyone who watched the pathetic 31-7 effort vs. the Falcons can attest to that fact."
Will the Colts have an imperfect regular season? Only time will tell.
Inspin.com has released the following odds on the Indianapolis Colts:
| Yes, the Colts will go 0-16 | 20/1 | bet $100 to win $2,000 |
The above odds are for an imperfect regular season. For the bet to win the Colts must lose each and every one of their 2011-2012 regular season games.
