The NFL preseason is under one month away, and a handful of teams become much improved this offseason.

In this article, I am going to outline the top five most improved NFL teams.

5. Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals already had a solid team, but they became much better with the signings of Alex Cappa, La’el Collins, and Ted Karras. These three players are all offensive linemen and will help protect quarterback Joe Burrow.

The more Joe Burrow is protected, the more touchdowns he can throw to Ja’Marr Chase.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars
Hear me out. The Jaguars were the worst team in the league last year and can only get better. It is highly unlikely they will make the Playoffs this year, but they did sign many solid players this offseason.

They gave out $148 million in guaranteed contracts and signed wide receiver Christian Kirk, tight end Evan Engram, and linebacker Devin Lloyd among other players.

I would not expect the Jaguars to make a huge jump, but they should be much better.

3. Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins caught a lot of people by surprise and made a couple of big signings. The biggest signing was former Kansas City Chief Tyreek Hill.

Hill will now be Tua Tagovaila’s main target and greatly strengthen the Miami offense.

The Dolphins also added running backs Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert. They are both solid backs and add to Miami’s depth. I would expect Miami to make the Playoffs and snag a Wild Card spot this season.

2. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles strengthened their already strong roster with a few key signings and a key trade. Philadelphia traded for A.J. Brown and drafted Georgia defensive tackle Jordan Davis in the First Round. Brown was a Pro Bowler in 2020, and Davis had 32 tackles in his senior season.

The Eagles also signed cornerback James Bradberry to a one-year deal. Bradberry, a 2020 Pro Bowler, started 16 games last season and racked up four interceptions. I would be surprised if the Eagles do not make the Playoffs this year.

1. Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers threw a lot of money into their defense this offseason. Their most notable pickup was Khalil Mack, but they also acquired J.C. Jackson, Sebastian Joseph-Day, and Austin Johnson.

The Chargers defense struggled mightily last season but will be much better with all of their new players.
