The ACC is entering a new era in 2023 after eliminating the Atlantic and Coastal divisions and introducing a single 14-team league.
Clemson has won seven of the last eight ACC championships but will face stiff competition from Florida State, Pittsburgh, and North Carolina this season.
Here are my best bets for the 2023 season in the conference with the odds, according to FanDuel.

Conference Winner:
Florida State 170
The Seminoles are my pick to win the ACC championship. Florida State’s offense is 12th in the nation in returning production, bringing back sixth-year senior quarterback Jordan Travis.
Travis is a dual-threat playmaker who does not make many mistakes. The Noles also have a talented receiving corps led by Johnny Wilson, who averaged just under 21 yards per catch last season.
The Florida State defense is second in the nation in returning production, led by Jared Verse, one of the best pass rushers in the country.
Sleeper to watch: North Carolina 1100
The Tar Heels have tremendous value to take the conference. Drake Maye is the best quarterback in the conference and one of the best in the nation.
The Tarheels team also added some talented receivers through the transfer portal, including Devontez Walker and Nate McCollum.
The defense should improve under coordinator Gene Chizik, making North Carolina a real dark horse contender.

Over/Under Win Total Best Bets:
Louisville UNDER 8.5 wins (-162)
The Cardinals are overvalued under their new head coach, Jeff Brohm, who is coming over from Purdue.
There is excitement around the offense about Brohm returning to his alma mater, but the Cardinals offense ranked higher than Purdue’s for the past three seasons, so how much of an upgrade should the fans expect?
Former Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham is in the NFL, and I don’t see former California quarterback Jack Plummer as an upgrade. The Cardinals will fall short of nine regular season wins.
Virginia Tech UNDER 5.5 wins (-152)
The Hookies will struggle again after going 3-8 last season under the first year of head coach Brent Pry’s tenure.
The overall talent on the roster is amongst the worst in the ACC. Virginia Tech ranked 120th in the nation in total offense and averaged their lowest scoring output in over 30 years.
I don’t see more than four or five wins on the Hokies schedule.
